​Be civil and treat people kindly and politely. Show respect for your elders. Help people and try to have empathy and sympathy for others.  When you shake someone's hand, look them straight in their eyes and tell them you are happy to meet them.

Mr. Hogan had a strong pair of hands. Ted Williams, the great baseball slugger shook Mr.  Hogan's hands and thought that he was being gripped by steel bands.

​

​Mr. Hogan had these hands, but he had something else that few people knew. He had a kind heart. He reached out to people young and old that needed some guidance and some monetary help. Mr. Hogan, in his own way, loved individuals  that he got to know. He loved people, animals and this wonderful game of golf.
